The execution of a search warrant in Abilene at 409 NW 3rd Street, Apt. 001 has led to the arrest of 32-year old Joshua Shultz on multiple counts this week. They include suspicion of Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia used for sales, Unlawful Use of a Telecommunications Device, and Acquiring Drug Proceeds.

Dickinson County Sheriff Gareth Hoffman said the search warrant was executed Tuesday one day after a controlled purchase of methamphetamine was allegedly conducted from Schultz at the apartment residence Monday.

At the time the search warrant was executed a search of the residence and adjacent shop resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia, bags with methamphetamine residue, digital scales, and a small amount of marijuana. Money used in the alleged controlled buy of the meth was also recovered during the search.

Hoffman said the investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are possible.
