Memorial Services for Robert W. (Bob) Clowe will be at 10 a.m., Friday at the Londeen Funeral Chapel, Chapman. Officiating will be former First Christian Church Minister Darel Boston. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery, Junction City with full Military Honors.
Memorials may be given to the C.L. Hoover Opera House, Junction City, the Geary County Hospital Board Foundation, or the donor’s choice sent in care of the Londeen Funeral Chapel, Box 429, Chapman, KS 678431.
Mr. Clowe passed away January 4th at age 89.
He served 16 years on the Geary Unified School District Board of Education; served as a member of the Geary Community Hospital Board of Trustees; the zoning appeals board; worked as Vice President of Business Affairs at the Manhattan Christian College; and had a long career in federal government service at Fort Riley.
Prior to his professional careers, he was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1943 serving in the South Pacific where he was awarded a number of distinguished service awards including a Purple Heart.

Julius Alexander, 75, of Junction City, KS passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Geary Community Hospital. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
The family visitation will be held Saturday following the service from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the Club Room located at the Valley View Estates. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the New Church of the Living God 1315 W. Ash Street Junction City, KS 66441.

Kenneth R. Armstrong, 75, of Junction City, KS passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, KS. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service with full military honors will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery.
A family visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Street. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the American Lung Association.
