The Kansas State women’s basketball team defeated Samford 60-41 Tuesday night at Bramlage Coliseum.

An 18-0 run to begin the second half lifted Kansas State to their ninth straight home court win. Freshman Shaelyn Martin led a balanced offensive attack with 10 points, five rebounds, four steals, and three assists.

The contest completed the regular season non-conference schedule for Kansas State.

Samford fell to 6-8 on the season.
