Kansas State wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been named the 2014 Big 12 Football Scholar Athlete of the Year by the league’s head coaches.

Lockett is an Academic All-Big 12 and Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll scholar.

Lockett, for the second time in his casreer, has been named a Walter Camp All-American. The Walter Camp Foundation made the announcement during the ESPN College Football Awards Show.

Lockett earned second-team honors as both a wide receiver and kick returner from the Walter Camp Foundation.
