Kathy Tremont, Geary County Treasurer has reminded vehicle owners that they have until Dec. 31 to renew auto tags U, X, Y, Z. Large trucks ( 12,000+ ) and trailers will expire Dec. 31, but will be allowed a grace period until the last day of Feb. 2015.  Large truck and trailer license plate renewals go on sale after Jan. 1, 2015.

The office of the Geary County Treasurer will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11 for Veteran’s Day, Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28  for Thanksgiving, and Thursday, Dec. 25 and Friday Dec. 26 for Christmas.
