The “Music of the Scottish Isles” wil be performed by Julie Fowlis at the C. L. Hoover Opera House on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Called “Gaelic music’s most celebrated global ambassador,” it has been said of Julie Fowlis’ performing that “after you hear her perform live, you feel that you have been fundamentally changed.

Fowlis provided the singing voice in the Oscar winning ‘Brave’ animated film set in the ancient highlands of Scotland.

Tickets are $24 for adults, $21 for military and seniors 65 and older, and $18 for students 18 and under.

The performance is being sponsored by the Hoover-Koken Foundation and Sunflower Bank.
