Geary USD 475 will sponsor the 5th annual Technology and Learning Fair Monday, Oct. 13 at Junction City Middle School. The annual conference provides district certified staff with an opportunity to interact and learn from experts in the field of educational technology as well as their peers.

The keynote address, “Reaching and Teaching the Digital Learner,” is presented by Dedra Stafford, an internationally known speaker, trainer, and author in education, and a former middle level teacher and district professional development specialist. In her keynote address she will show teachers how to speak the language, use the tools, and make learning relevant to the 21st Century learners.

Many of the USD 475 elementary, middle, and high school teachers will also be presenting on a variety of educational technology topics to engage and support student learning.
