8: 10 a.m.     ABILENE, Kan.- Fire crews in Abilene responded just before 4 a.m. on Monday morning to a blaze on Northeast 6th Street.

The Abilene Fire Department reported that upon arrival, the first and second floors and roof were on fire.  The house was believed to be vacant. There are no injuries reported. The residence is a total loss.

An investigation is underway.
