The Wounded Warrior softball team will play a squad comprised of Fort Riley and Junction City representatives Saturday in Manhattan at Tointon Family Stadium.

The game will begin at 3 p.m.

Junction City Mayor Mike Ryan will play on the local team against the Wounded Warriors, whom he praised for what they have given. “Their young people and we’re talking about amputees that they’ve made a sacrifice for the rest of their life.”

The Wounded Warrior team is also scheduled to play a team comprised of former professional athletes at 5 p.m. Saturday as part of the event at Tointon Family Stadium.
