… The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Geary… Dickinson and Morris
counties will expire at 1145 PM CDT…
The line of storms which prompted the warning has weakened below
severe limits… and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or
property. However… gusty winds up to 50 mph are still possible
with these thunderstorms.

… A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for Harvey…
McPherson… Marion and eastern Saline counties until midnight CDT…
At 1125 PM CDT… severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Tampa to Durham to Goessel to 7 miles east of
Buhler… and moving southeast at 40 mph.

Marion… Newton… Tampa… Hillsboro… Hesston… Halstead…
Lincolnville… Walton… Peabody… Sedgwick… Marion Lake… Pilsen…
Lost Springs… North Newton and Newton Airport.

Geary… north central Dickinson… eastern Clay… western Pottawatomie
and Riley counties until midnight CDT…
At 1119 PM CDT… the leading edge of severe thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from Randolph to Junction City… and
moving southeast at 45 mph.

Wakefield… Manhattan… Westmoreland… Keats… Tuttle Creek
Lake… Olsburg… Ogden and St. George.

extending from 10 miles south of Barnes to 8 miles northeast of
Talmage… and moving southeast at 45 mph.

General Information and Precautionary measures:
Hazard… 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
Source… trained weather spotters have reported widespread wind
damage with these storms.
Impact… hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs… siding and trees.

This is a dangerous situation. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage. Seek shelter now inside a sturdy structure and stay
away from windows.
