MANHATTAN, Kan. – The K-State volleyball season is less than a month away, and K-State Athletics officials announced that single-match tickets for the Wildcats’ 13-match home schedule, which starts on September 4, will go on sale on Monday, August 18.
The Wildcats will host the annual K-State Varney’s Invitational inside Bramlage Coliseum to kick off their home schedule. K-State will play three matches in as many days, starting with the tournament opener at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 4 (vs. Arkansas), followed by a 7 p.m. match onFriday, September 5 (vs. Middle Tennessee St.), and ending with a 7 p.m.match on Saturday, September 6 (vs. UCF).
Fans can catch all of the Varney’s Invitational action with the Bramlage Bundle that includes a ticket to all three Wildcat matches. The ticket bundle can be purchased for $10 for youth, military personnel, and senior citizens or $14 for adults, saving as much as $10 for the entire weekend.
The Varney’s Invitational also has several exciting promotions. September 4 is Ladies Night, which features a $15 ticket package that includes one general admission ticket, one custom K-State Mason jar, 5 minute massage from Bella’s Academy, and one drink voucher for either beer, wine or water, and hors d’oeuvres, all of which is valued at $30. The Ladies Night event starts one hour prior to the start of the match in the Legends Room. The deadline for purchasing Ladies Night ticket packages is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2.
Also during the Varney’s Invitational, the Wildcats will hold Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, September 6. Military personnel can purchase a $3 ticket by showing their military I.D, a savings of $4. The Wildcats will also sign autographs after the match.
Many value-packed ticket deals return in 2014, including the popular Wildcat 4 Pack, which features four general admission tickets and four hot dog, chips and soft drink vouchers for $34, a savings of nearly $30. The Wildcat 4 Pack is available for the September 4, September 6, October 8 and November 1 matches. Also, four Wildcat Weekends are on tap this season. Fans can purchase $3 tickets by showing their respective game ticket from a home football or women’s basketball game, with the first Wildcat Weekend slated for the Big 12 opener against Baylor on Saturday, September 27 (FB vs. UTEP ticket). Other Wildcat Weekend dates includeSaturday, November 1 vs. Texas Tech (FB vs. Oklahoma St. ticket),Saturday, November 22 vs. TCU (WBB vs. Hampton ticket), and Senior Night on Saturday, November 29 vs. West Virginia (FB ticket vs. KU).
