Update: 4:45 p.m. – Police have located Gauna. More information will be included in a press release to follow later this evening.

The Riley County Police Department is currently seeking information on whereabouts of Arayah Gauna, a 16 year old female in the area.

Gauna is a 16 year old Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 7 inches and weighs approximately 170 pounds.

According to Matthew Droge, RCPD Public Information Officer, the RCPD received a call of a possible juvenile runaway around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

“When Officers first arrived on scene and spoke with the parents, we weren’t 100 percent sure if she had just snuck out for a little bit, and was going to come back. Since it has been some time since she has not returned, obviously we are kind of ramping up the investigation a little bit,” said Officer Droge.

Seeing as how no one saw her leave Droge is un-able to give a description of what she was wearing when she left.
