Since 1884 Central National Bank has been providing banking services in Junction City and does so through multiple locations including one at Walmart.

About a year and a half ago Robert Munson, Bank President, said that he noticed the Walmart branch was starting to look a little dated and beat up, and this March they began the remodel.

“It was completely re-done, new teller counters, a new front on the Managers office. A complete remodel in order to bring it up to date and make it as very functional as possible for our customers.”

Steve Bussman, Walmart Store Manager said that the re-model helps out Walmart as well.

“I think it kind of stream lines things a little bit easier for the customer in here, but the appearance of the bank is a tremendous addition to the store, just the newness and the customers are really reacting really positive to it,” Bussman said.
