Junction City Police Chief Tim Brown has issued a release saying the JCPD will not test the storm sirens at noon on Monday May 26. That is due to Memorial Day services which are scheduled on Ft. Riley beginning at 11:40 and that include a 21-Gun Salute at noon. There is also a service that will be conducted by the Knights Templar at 1 p.m. in Heritage Park in Junction City. The Police Department will now test the storm sirens at 2 p.m. on Monday if inclement weather is not present
