6A Team Scoring:

–Lawrence Free State won the 6A girls title with 97 points. Manhattan finished 7th 32, while Junction City was 24th with 9 points.

–Manhattan finished second in the 6A boys team scoring with 75  points. Olathe East finished first with 85.

–Jennifer ( Gruver ) Kirkpatrick, currently  of Junction City, and a native of Scott City was inducted Saturday into the KSHSAA Hall of Fame. She was a multi-sport standout at Scott Community High School (1988-92 ). She earned 12 gold medals along with four silver medals at the State Meet during those years.

White City Girls finished 32nd in the 1A team competition with 6 points. Blue Rapids-Valley Heights captured first with 62 points
