The annual Hiring Heroes Career Fair at Fort Riley is scheduled April 23 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Riley’s Conference Center.

Post officials said the career fair provides veterans and wounded warriors an opportunity to network with prospective employers.

The Hiring Heroes Program is the Department of Defense’s outreach program for providing job search assistance to wounded, ill, and injured service members whose careers were cut short due to injuries received in Iraq and Afghanistan, and to transitioning service members, Veterans, and their spouses.
