Edmond C. “Ed” Askren Jr., 93, of Junction City, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Geary Community Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Laurie Barnes officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service in the church parlor.  Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow the memorial service at Highland Cemetery.
