The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that a 77-year old man Larry L. Bliss of rural Geary County suffered fatal injuries due to a farm tractor rollover accident Saturday evening.

Deputies responded just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday to 12998 Humboldt Creek Road for the farm tractor rollover accident.

According to Sheriff Tony Wolf the victim’s son  located the tractor that had rolled over, with 77-year old Larry L. Bliss pinned underneath.

Wolf noted the tractor was loaded with firewood.  The victim was trying to return to his house, and went through a ravine with the tractor. “At some point the trailer got ahead of the tractor, forced it down the hill, rolled over, pinning Mr. Bliss underneath the tractor.”
