The Friday sports schedule at Junction City High school finds:

–the JCHS Invitational track meet at 3:30 at Al Simpler Stadium

–the Lady Jay softball opener at 4 p.m. against Topeka West  for both varsity and junior varsity teams at the Cleary Park fields

–the Blue Jay junior varsity baseball team will host Topeka West in a doubleheader at Rathert Field beginning at 4 p.m.
