Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism has announced that all state parks will hold an Open House on Saturday, March 29.
Milford State Park Director Justin Wren confirmed that day is the kickoff for the spring and summer season. Visitors will be able to receive free vehicle entrance that day. “But if you do buy your annual camping that’s the time to go get your annual camping permit. It’s $152.50 now, but as of April 1 it will jump up to $202.50.
Wren said March 29 is a change to explore the State Park and what is offered. That could include trails, a playground, and shelters.
