The Kansas Highway Patrol reported two people were taken to Clay County Hospital for treatment of injuries following a one vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.

KHP reported that the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet pickup, Ian M. Appleby, 15,  and a passenger, Corey L. Appleby, 43, both of Clay Center were taken to the hospital.

They were traveling northbound on Highway K-15 when the pickup driven by Ian Appleby went off the road to the right, over corrected, and went off the road to the left, rolling several times before coming to rest on its wheels.   Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts.
