U.S. Senator Jerry Moran will be in Junction City on Friday to visit two Geary USD 475 elementary schools.

Moran will be at Westwood Elementary School at 7:45 a.m. to visit the “Rockin’ Readers” program. The program consists of 1st and 2nd grade students reading with 4th and 5th grade students to improve reading skills.

The Senator is scheduled to visit Washington Elementary School at 8:30 a.m. That school was recently recognized as a distinguished Title I School by the National Title I Association.
