Glenn Mitchell Bullock, a lifetime resident of the Junction City community, passed away at his home in Junction City, KS on Saturday, January 25, 2013 at the age of 67.
Glenn was born October 16, 1946 in Junction City, KS. He attended grade school in Junction City, and graduated from Junction City High School with the Class of 1965. He married Joanne Marie Dudek, the love of his life, on April 12, 1985. She preceded him in death on December 14, 1989. He worked as a driver for Edwards Trucking, and then he worked for George Meyers from 1973 till 1987. He worked for Konza Construction from 1987 till 1991, and Bill Pett Tree Service until his retirement. He worked for Konza Construction from 1987 till 1991, and Bill Pugh as an excavator using heavy equipment. He worked for Haslett Tree Service until his retirement.
He is survived by one stepson Jason Rodgers from Junction City, KS; three stepdaughters: Valerie Orr of Junction City, KS, Billie Jo Wolfe of Fair Play, MO, Cheryl Rodgers O’Leary of Fort Worth, TX; one sister Barbara Wood of Junction City, KS; his best friend Harry G. May, and many stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joanne, one stepson Steven Stebbins, one sister Brenda Peterson, and one brother Gary Peterson.
Cremation was requested, and the family, at a later date will have a private burial of the ashes at the Fairview Cemetery, east of Junction City, KS. The Londeen Funeral Chapel in Chapman, KS is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to The Glenn Bullock Fund.
