Wakefield High School junior Keenan Westerman scored 16 points, pulled down five rebounds, and had five steals in a 50-46 Bombers victory over Peabody-Burns. Earlier in the week Wakefield lost to Solomon, but Keenan had 24 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in that basketball game.

In recognition of his performance Keenan Westerman is the McDonald’s Athlete of the Week. He will receive a framed certificate, recognition on display boards at the two McDonald’s Restaurants in Junction City, and on both the Talk of JC and online at JCPost.com.
