A Board of Directors has been formed for the Geary County Perinatal Coalition, the local collaborative that established the Delivering Change: Healthy Moms-Healthy Babies initiative.
“With the growth of Delivering Change we felt it was necessary to establish a formal board of directors to help us continue our successes, overcome our challenges, and help us get to the next level,” said Jill Nelson, GCPC Program Coordinator. Previously, the group has been guided by a core group representing the various collaborative organizations.
Board members include: Dr. Alicia Bean, Konza Prairie Community Health and Dental Center; Sara Girard, Central National Bank; Patricia Hunter, Geary County Health Department; Dr. Lynley Holman, Flint Hills OB/GYN; Carissa Horton, PA, Geary Community Hospital Rural Health Clinic; Harold Marion, Geary Community Hospital; Kim Milleson, Central National Bank; Jolana Montgomery Matney, Geary Community Healthcare Foundation; Jill Nelson, Geary County Perinatal Coalition Program Coordinator; Tracy Sabo, RD, Geary County WIC Program; Dr. Daniel Sessions, Irwin Army Community Hospital; Terrah Stroda, CNM, Geary COunty Perinatal Coalition Medical Director; Sara Talley, Geary County Fetal Infant Mortality Review Program; Florence Whitebread, Geary County Commissioner; Shaquencia Raymond Anderson; and Nikki Keene-Woods, PhD., Wichita State University.
