The arrival of new snow Monday morning sent county road crews back to work about 5 a.m.
The County’s Public Works Director Dennis Cox stated they were continuing to maintain roads. “Had some light precip that’s complicated a little bit, but we’ve got most of em clear from that. Of course everything was cleared from the heavy snow yesterday late. We’re continuing to widen the road areas, clearing mail boxes, things of that nature. So we’re finishing up.”
Over the weekend city and county crews worked 12-hour shifts to keep up with the heavy snow that fell.
