The Geary County Sheriff’s Department worked a one vehicle injury accident on Saturday at mile marker 293 on I-70 west of Junction City.

The Sheriff’s Department reported a 2002 Jeep driven by Ryan Cook of Parker, Co. was westbound, slid on the ice, went off the roadway, and rolled over in the median. Ryan Cook and a passenger Josh Cook were transported by ambulance to Geary Community Hospital.

Two other non-injury accidents occurred at the 293 milepost on the interstate following the initial accident.    The accidents were reported just before three p.m. on Saturday.
