The Chapman High School marching band and dance team will travel to San Antonio, Texas over their holiday break.

They will perform at the Valero Alamo Bowl Game on Dec. 30.
Chapman High School principal Kevin Suther explained that the group of 85 students and adults will be leaving on the 27th. Their first stop in San Antonio will be at Antonio Prep High School where they will perform in a field show. “Throughout the afternoon then we get some time off to be able to go to Six Flags. We do have multiple days in which we do a mass band rehearsal.” That will be along with about 15 other schools for the halftime show at the Alamo Bowl.
Suther added the band will also visit the Riverwalk and hopefully, take in some of the history of San Antonio. They will return to Chapman on Dec. 31.
