You might characterize it as a tsunami of shoppers.

Wal Mart opened their Holiday sales Thanksgiving night at six and eight p-m.

Store Manager Steve Bussman said the number of shoppers in the store began to increase about three p.m. on Thursday. “Oh, I’d have to estimate there were probably close to 35-hundred people in her by six p-m. if not over that.”  Three-hundred store associates were on-duty to help serve the public.

Thirty-two inch televisions, electronic tablets, airbed mattresses, and the X-Box One were hot selling items.

Bussman said the crowd numbers died down a little by about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, but the store stayed extremely busy until about five a.m. Friday.  Later on Friday he noted the store once again became extremely busy.
