Police Identify Shooting Victim

Junction City police have identified the victim in an early Saturday morning shooting incident.jcpd two

Police said Kadarian Romez Jones, 23, Junction City, suffered two non-life threatening gunshot wounds, one to his shoulder and another to his head. He was treated and released from Geary Community Hospital.

The JCPD reported an officer conducted a traffic stop about 2:15 a.m. in the 500 block of W. 11th. The Officer discovered one of the vehicle occupants  ( Kadarian Romez Jones ) suffering from the two non-life threatening gunshot wounds. It was discovered that Jones had been shot by an unknown black man after a disturbance at the Factory, an after-hours club located at 805 Grant Ave. shortly before the traffic stop.

There have been no arrests in the case. Detectives are actively working the case, and ask if anyone has information on this case to call Crime Stoppers at 785-762-8477.
