The Kansas Department of Transportation announced Friday that all lanes, ramps and bridges along the K-18 corridor between I-70 and the west side of Manhattan are open.

The ramps from eastbound K-18 to Davis Drive and Davis Drive to eastbound K-18 are now open to unrestricted traffic in Manhattan. Also, the new bridge over K-18 connecting Miller Parkway to Davis Drive is now open to unrestricted traffic. However, sidewalks along Davis Drive, Miller Parkway and over the new bridge remain closed at this time.

Crews still have clean up and finishing work on the project that is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2014. The clean up work will take place off the highway on the right of way and will have little to no traffic impacts.
