The Geary County Sheriff’s Department reported deputies responded to the 11900 block of Humboldt Creek Road early Tuesday morning for a single vehicle – deer accident. That accident also caused a secondary vehicle versus vehicle accident.

The drivers were identified as Luther Johnson of Woodbine, and Roger Syring of Alta Vista. Johnson was operating a 1999 GMC school bus, and Syring was driving a 2006 Ford Fusion.

The Sheriff’s Department reported there were no students on the school bus and no injuries reported as a result of the crash.  The accidents were reported at 6:25 a.m.
