The Manhattan Indians ( 7-2 ) will play at Maize ( 7-2 ) in the first round of the Class 6A postseason playoffs Friday night.
The Indians qualified as the runner-up team from District 5 via the state tiebreaker system after tying with Topeka High and Junction City with 2-1 records in district play.
Topeka High ( 8-1 ), was declared the district winner and will host Wichita Heights ( 6-2 ) at Hummer Sports Park in the capitol city.
Junction City did not advance to the playoffs.
