A Ness City man was killed in an unusual Tuesday night accident when his truck was stuck in mud.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol forty-eight year old Darren Eugene McVcker was driving a 2012 Ford truck south on county road J, two miles south of Ness City.

The truck went into the east and west ditch many times and got stuck in the west ditch facing east. McVicker attempted to get the truck out. He fell under the rear tire and the truck ran him over. He died at the scene.
