Two key receivers returned from injury and illness abscences to the Kansas State lineup in

time for Kansas State’s 35-12 victory over West Virginia Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Tyler Lockett caught eight passes for 111 yards and three touchdowns while Tremaine Thompson caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Wildcat victory over the Mountaineers.

On the impact of their return both on the field and in leadership Bill Snyder noted, “You would anticipate that it would have a big impact. I didn’t see during the course of the week anybody make any kind of an issue about it. It was just, this is what your supposed to do. You’re here, so let’s go.” Concerning their on-field play Snyder added, “Obvious, I mean just based on their performance, and the catches that they made it was significant for us, you know very, very beneficial. ”
Kansas State ( 3-4, 1-3 Big 12 ) will host Iowa State next Saturday.
