The Junction City Police Department is investigating a shots fired case that occurred just after 3 a.m. Saturday at The Factory, 805 Grant Avenue. 

Police said a male victim sustained a lower right hip gunshot wound and was transported to Geary Community Hospital after the scene was secured by patrol. Investigations were notified and they responded to the scene.

The name of the shooting victim has not been released.
