Obituaries – October 3, 2013

Leon Alfred Larouche, a resident of Chapman, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Chapman Valley Manor in Chapman, KS at the age of 75.
He is survived by his wife Naomi of their home in Chapman, one son Leo Larouche and his wife Debbie of Derby, KS; four daughters: Rose Lindsay and husband Dallas of Chapman, Elizabeth Barber of Denison, TX, Margaret Braden and her husband Greg of New Port Richey, FL, Theresa Burns and her husband Michael of Hutchinson, KS; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Rene Larouche, and Gene Larouche.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, and two brothers: Leo Larouche (Leon’s twin brother), and Rodger Larouche.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Chapman at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 5.  Monsignor James Hake will officiate.  Burial with Military Honors will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, northeast of Chapman.  The family will receive friends at the Londeen Funeral Chapel in Chapman from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 4 with the reciting of the Rosary at 7 p.m. The Londeen Funeral Chapel will be open for visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be given to St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, or the Chapman V.F.W. sent in care of the Londeen Funeral Chapel, Box 429, Chapman, KS  67431.
