The Junction City / Geary County United Way completed it’s annual Business Blitz Friday in Junction City.
This year 47 business’ participated in the five day blitz according to Aileen Cray, United Way
Executive Director. “We did really, really well this week. Our total contribution for the five days was $13,295 and that represents about eight percent of our overall goal of $175,000.”
The Campaign now moves into the larger employers internal campaigns. “I’ve got more presentations and such lined up for the next several weeks,” Cray said.
She also mentioned that more restaurant days have been scheduled along with the annual day of caring, which has been scheduled for Saturday, October 19th. The campaign runs through mid November.
