Junction City Police are reporting the arrest of Anthony S. Nichols, 33, Junction City in connection with the shooting death of Anthony D. Nixon last Saturday morning.

Nixon was shot to death at the intersection of 10th and Webster about 2:45 a.m Saturday.
The Police report shows Nichols was arrested on suspicion of First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery.
The JCPD said the arrest was a collaborative effort between the Riley County and Junction City Police Departments, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. They report the investigation is still ongoing.
Nichols is being held at the Geary County Detention Center without bond pending a first appearance in District Court.
