The Junction City Lady Jay volleyball team opened their season Thursday night at the Shenk Gym with wins over Highland Park and Topeka West, and a loss to Hayden.

JCHS Coach Megan Parks was pleased with her team’s performance. “Not too bad at all. We came in expecting to have some wins. And I think I’m satisfied. I think the girls are pretty happy with a two and one win.”

Junction City defeated Highland Park 25-9 , 25-14, and Topeka West 25-16, 25-23. They fell to Hayden 25-10, 25-7.
