The Junction City Lady Jays defeated Dodge City 26-24, 25-19 in the Class 6A Substate Tournament played at Washburn Rural High School on Saturday.

In the championship match Junction City fell to Washburn Rural 25-2, 25-9.

The Lady Jays finished the season with a record of 20-17.
