A community outreach called “Fields of Faith” is scheduled from 6:30 tp 8 p.m. Wednesday at Al Simpler Stadium. Ty Zimmerman, an Area Representative with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, said it will be a free event and open to the public.

Zimmerman stated that there will be student speakers, “a teacher that’s going to speak and share his testimony, and then we’ll have some worship music throughout the night as well. So it’s going to be a fun event.” High school students are the target audience, but Zimmerman said they also want to open it up to the community. “So we want to invite friends, family, everybody.”

FCA Board member Brad Siefert said it’s important as a community to come together. “I just love the idea that we can come together, and just have this opportunity to come together, show a unified front. There ‘s several churches that will be involved with this throughout our community.” Siefert said every church and denomination is invited.
