Lady Jay tennis competes at Centennial League

The Junction City Lady Jay tennis team traveled to Topeka on Monday for the Centennial League Tournament.   Krysta Talley, in the singles bracket,  and the doubles team of Anna Torres and Sierra Stage both ended the day as the high finishers for the Lady Jays in 14th place.  Both had 2-4 records.  Elyse Nguyen finshed 16th with a 1-4 record.  The doubles team of Avery Jacobsen and Lucy Ramirez finished in 17th place with a 1-4 record.

As a team Junction CIty finished in 8th place.  Manhattan took home the team championship.  The Lady Jays next travel to Wichita for regionals this Saturday, October 12.  Matches will begin at 9 am.
