Twelve minority and women-owned companies, three individuals and one corporation from across the state are being recognized for their support and efforts to create new opportunities. The recognition is coming via the Kansas Department of Commerce Minority Enterprise Development Awards.

In the Service Industry Firm category the Loving Arms Childcare and Preschool of Junction City is one company receiving recognition.
