There will be a sale of properties in Geary County on which delinquent taxes are owed, but county officials cannot say exactly when that occur.

County Commission Chairman Charles Stimatze said, “The new court system stuff is down and the state doesn’t know how to fix it. So they’re trying to work through the bugs on that.”

The amount of delinquent property taxes collected so far total $779,447.20.
