If your child or a child you know experienced the loss of a significant loved one through death, divorce or distance Camp Soar may be able to help them.

Organizers said the day camp is mostly about fun. Participants play games and enjoy planned activities, while focusing on sharing memories, trying new things and learning that they are never alone in their grief.

Accord Hospice is hosting Camp Soar on Saturday, Sept. 28th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the 12th Street Community Center. Lunch will be provided.  This is free for youth ages 5 to 16. Registration is required. Contact astanzel@accordks.com or https://www.accordhealthgroup.com/camp-soar
