The Junction City Lady Jay tennis team traveled to Washburn Rural on Wednesday for a quadrangular. Krysta Talley led  the team by going 2-1 on the day.

She teamed up with Anna Torres at one doubles for an 8-1 victory and  defeated her opponent from Kansas City Christian School 8-6.

Elyse Nguyen picked up the other Lady Jay victory as she defeated her Marysville opponent in two singles 8-5.

Overall the Lady Jays went 2-2 vs. Marysville, 0-4 against Washburn Rural and 1-3 against Kansas City Christian. The Lady Jays play at Manhattan in a quadrangular on Tuesday at City Park beginning at 3 p.m.
