A suggestion has been made to look at possibly rearranging the annual Geary County Free Fair schedule for 4-H in order to spread out project judging and livestock shows.
A copy of the survey is included the Geary County 4-H News letter and there is an online site where you can provide feedback. Paper surveys should be returned to the Extension Office. The survey feedback should be provided by Monday, Sept. 16.

The are multiple options where you can make a check mark to express your opinion.
–Additional pre-fair judging that would occur the week before the fair during the morning or afternoon. ( Pre-fair judging is judging that would happen prior to the fair. Exhibits would be brought for judging, taken home and then returned to the fair to be displayed with ribbons for the duration of the fair, similar to the way clothing judging is conducted at the present time.
–Additional pre-fair judging to occur the week before the fair on evenings or weekend.
–Livestock shows happening during other daytime hours instead of only late afternoon and evening.
–Additional day added to the fair schedule
–None of the above
Those who fill out the survey can provided additional comments.
The Geary County Free Fair is held in late July each year.
