The Geary County Extension Office will host an informational meeting on the 2018 Farm Bill on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at the 4-H/Senior Citizens Center.

There will be information on how PLC and ARC-CO did for Geary County farm producers in the last farm bill. There will be discussion about some of the bigger changes in the 2018 Farm Bill, and then some considerations for producers decisions for sign-up.

Geary County Extension Agent Chuck Otte will present the informational portion of the meeting. Jennifer Sensley, County Executive Director for the Geary / Riley County Farm Service Agency office will be in attendance to help answer questions from producers.
