The Army has announced that Fort Riley’s Mission and Installation Contracting Command, along with the U.S. Army 923rd Contracting Battalion, will partner with state and local agencies for a small business procurement day event Tuesday, May 7, in Topeka.

The event will be held at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, 1717 SW Topeka Boulevard, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. All categories of small businesses are invited to attend this one day, free event, which will inform attendees how to bid for government contracts and facilitate networking with government agencies.

Other partners include the Kansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Greater Topeka Partnership, GO Topeka – Entrepreneur Minority Business Development and the Kansas Department of Commerce.
